Amygdalin was first isolated from bitter almond seeds in 1830. Since the 1950s a modified form of Amygdalin has been marketed under the names Laetrile and Vitamin B17. Amygdalin is a nitriloside, a water-soluble, essentially non-toxic, sugary compound present in over 800 plants. The richest source of Amygdalin is apricot kernels, but it appears naturally in most fruit seeds, many grasses, and a verity of beans.
What is B17?
B17, also referred to as Amygdalin, is a substance found naturally in over 1200 different foods, including the seeds of many kinds of fruits, such as apricots, plums, cherries, oranges, nectarines, apples and peaches, as well as many raw nuts. Are There Side Effects?

Side effects, includeing headache or dizziness, that may occur are temporary and act as a signal that you’re consuming too much B17 at one time.
